WERFT carries out various maintenance assignments for Waternet
Shipyard WERFT recently started a series of maintenance and refit assignments on behalf of Waternet, the organisation responsible for water management in and around Amsterdam. The work includes the technical maintenance and modernisation of several vessels that are used daily for water management, inspection and support of infrastructure on and around the water.
With this collaboration, Waternet confirms its confidence in WERFT as a reliable partner for sustainable and targeted maintenance of the fleet. The work will be carried out in phases, with a focus on minimal downtime and maximum operational deployability of the vessels.
For this project, WERFT will use its expertise in the field of propulsion, energy efficiency and ship interiors. In addition, there will be collaboration with specialist suppliers for electrical installations and painting.
This assignment fits within WERFT’s ambition to contribute to sustainable and future-oriented water management.
